Bought a 86' Yamaha BW 80 as a father and son project, found a pipe on ebay ( the bike a small 4-stroke pipe with a big silencer on it  ). So we have the correct pipe, new seat cover , had to get a new throttle and grips. Off to a good start :w00t: .. We got the bike running but at half throttle it kind falls flat, no more power. I need schooled on 2 Strokes - what should I be looking at.

Thanks J.

the carb ! if it sat for a long time the the carb is junk.. the passage ways in that carb are so small it makes it next to impossible to clean.

Well we will tear down the carb and see what we can do, it'll him a chance to see whats inside - maybe he'll get lucky and get the carb all cleaned up.

Thank J.
