My brother showed up today with this 83 christmas special :naughty:

He got for FREE....

pretty nice un molested bike plastic is rattlecan but blue under.. he has already orderd tires and I showed him Dr ATV...:lol: He's :drool: ...

look for him soon to be a member...:beer I hope I convinced him to keep this all OEM!!:D

tanks a little rusty but I think saveable..no major dents..

Yes russ not a full resto .. because it gonna be my nephews ride.. but close to it new tires, bearings ,beadblast /paint, strip and clean up spray bomb fenders, new throttle ,mud flaps missing , foot fence missing , lots of little stuff.. NICE and functional for now... gotta set the hook with my brother... once he see's the modded out ones ... the hook wil be set.. lol

The honda paint code for the blue is PB-122 sorry can't remember what the color is called ...

You might be right Pat but all honda blue paint codes start with PB- so PB is the code for blue the 122 is what type of blue it is.....

Talked to a " Honda" service rep and they have no record of it, being 26 yrs. old dont help either I GUESS." the pb-122 is not in our systems" is the answer that I got but he gave me the name of colorrite or colorright to call and check with them. Anyone hear or deal with them? They are on the east coast somewhere.

I have one of them, but I think your plastic is a little better, mine has a replacement front fender, stock Honda but it is a 85 shape , has any one seen this before, the fender was bought on ebay many years ago, This bike has been in the mad 70s gang for years

got your brothers email been crazy busy , just had a chance to go in the paint booth and get the code for you , this was scanned from a nos tank and is 100% correct I use all dupont paints so its a dupont number for chroma base #778779K base coat
goos luck in your resto keep me in mind if you need any sub work done plating etc

I lucked into it i guess, doesnt happen much for me. Usually I gotta pay $$$$$$$$$$$$ out my azzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I`ll post some pics of it when were done, it sould come out real nice. The funny part is I got a 5 yr. old boy who`s askin if his parts are here yet everyday when he gets home from daycare. Never thought I `d see that.:lol:

Since when do you build 70's Raffa is your brother a honda guy? You need to get off your trailpro trailpro trailpro and get some Kart tires for the back of that zinger of your boy's, I've seen some that should go right on the stock zinger rims.

just got some parts back from the blaster ! :) got the cylinder painted with high temp blk. along with the axel spacers, recoil, brake drum and some other little parts. should get the frame on tuesday along with the tank, brake drum cover, chain guard and rims. I also got the seat done and the air cleaner man they look sweet. Bryan I came by and took 2 cans of the paint I ordered and dropped off the front bearings. There should be a packaged delivered on Tues or weds. with some more goodies. :naughty: Been tryin to get ahold of you, I`ll try tonight

forget about that delivery they only had one part of my order in stock so I cancelled. Tank, frame,forks are primed. Bryan I also delivered some painted parts last night, they are in the box on the back of the bench

If you're particular about this rebuild, I think that is the wrong sticker. I'm pretty sure the rear sticker for the blue 83 atc70 had different colors than the red sticker.

this is the org.sticker on the tank when we got it ... we got one listed for the 83 .. .. I'm positive the tank has never been painted! I do see that they are a 4 color decal..the one we have is a two blue/black:wondering
any one know where to find them?

The thing is, 99.5% of the trikes that the stockers are made for are for the red trikes. The blue trikes had different stickers. I think you have to ask whoever makes the stickers for the ones for the christmas special. You don't want to put the wrong stickers on the trike after all this work.

We have the tanks and forks finally. More pictures to come soon I`am sure. The paint is a Dupont chromobase #778779. Came out real nice.
