Need help with 185 spark advancer

Hi All,
I hope this is going to the right part of the site. Hope someone can help me with an issue with my 82 185 Honda 3 wheeler. My son and I took it out to run it and it did well until he took it off a small ramp and it died. After taking it home and looking it over, we found that the spark advancer weights had both busted the clips that go into the rotor and the springs were demolished. I found one on ebay for cheap and installed it but am unsure if I put in on right. Could someone give me the low down on how to reset the spark advancer. We cant seem to get it started. Here is the pic of the spark advancer found on ebay. Any help you guys can give me is greatly appreciated.

there are index marks on these that will line up (punch marks) then it will only slide on the end of the cam in one place over the button. If you take the round cover off by your pull start you will see a F mark on the fly wheel then line up the straight marks up tighten and you should be good to go
