Its a complete 400ex system.

Looks really good, what needed to be done to make it fit?? You think it could be made to fit with my supertrapp slip on?

You have to cut both pipes coming out of the head (mark them first) to take off the original exh flanges and install a new set that will work, then re-weld the pipes back into place. The flanges are easy to make if you have some simple tools, drill-press, hole saw(i forget the size), sawzall, and a vice. Also the tail section had to be cut 4-5 inches back from the end, then another small pie piece was cut from the headpipe to get the correct angle pointing in the right direction , then the 4-5 inch tail that was cut off was then rewelded onto the header. This made the head pipe the correct length for the muffler to mount up correctly. Your gonna have to get the muffler mounted and take numbers to know what exactly you have to do to the tail-piece.

I opted not to mod the muffler in any way, this way I have the option to buy any aftermarket 400ex pipe I want.

Start from the front and work your way back and be patient. Measure many times!
You may have to do things a little different to fit your supertrapp.

I hope this makes sense, hard to explain in text. Any questions, pm me.

P.S. DONT snap off any studs. If you do,...well it sucks. My bike now has all new gaskets in the top end if you know what i mean.
Also be sure to take the steel oil line off that feeds the head, it is easily damaged by installing and un-installing the header.

Went into the bowels of NH today with my tractor trike. Tested out the 22 in holeshots and they worked great. Hard to slide corners with them, but hey, its my tractor-trike

Played in the mud in NH today. Took a little spin out to that lil pit over in Keene and found that the little hill we like to climb on has been killed. All smoothed out and rocks surrounding the bottom :rolleyes:
