This is why I wasnt at TF :w00t:. I wanted to dump money in this so TF didnt happen. DISCLAIMER: No edggin was done during this project

The comet 30 series clutches I need are on backorder and wont be available for shipment for another 2 weeks or so.

So, sand blasted the frame, wire wheeled the axle then clear coated it, did some fiberglass to the seat to fix some bad spots, and had a new front axle made. We did our best to save the decals being as I probably wont ever find any

Carlisle Super Lugs all around. Rims were blasted and painted white. Frame and seat were painted tangerine orange. Going to replace all the bolts with stainless in the future and have new foot pegs made as mine are rotted out

All I am waiting on now is the engine (came in today but I couldnt pick it up from TSC), Jackshaft kit will be ordered when clutches are available to save on shipping, and controls which will be ordered with everything else. The seat is being made with white vinyl

So Finally I have a roller :naughty: :beer

Any posts made that dont pertain to how awesome it is are unwanted and persons will be :banned:  shens

cruising trikes are still somewhat popular. lots of hogs and goldwings made into trikes on the roads.

how are you going to shift.. or is it one of the mini bike engines they have, with 2 gear belt setup?. or is it from a dirt bike?

It has a small engine, 2 clutches and a jack shaft then a chain runs the the rear sprocket. Supposedly they will do 45mph with the stock setup

The artwork is the 40 year old OEM decals. We did our best to save them, mostly for sentimental value

Just like a snow mobile. It will give me more power and far superior speed over a centrifugal clutch

Clutch/Belt/Clutch/Jackshaft with a 12 tooth/chain/rear axle

I want to do this right the first time. Dont want to Cobble it

Cool. I had one like that about 10 years ago. Mine had car wheels on the rear though. Bought it for $20 at a scrap yard, put a 5hp Briggs on it, and had fun with it till the frame snapped in the rear from a jump haha

BTW, those China-copy Honda motors are real crap. Be sure to baby that thing! (no offence meant, but they are just terrible quality)

The Bajas are supposed to be good engines. But for now the engine will stay stock, including the govenor

i heard the oposite of the baja engines, i was told the frame, and exterior parts of there machines are CRAP but the engines can take a beating..
