okay, so I take it out on my first run and the vibrations are killing me, like at full throttle it feels like my arms are going numb. I don't think this normal and I was reading this thread: http://3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=95340&highlight=250r+vibrating but I still do not know what to do.

you probably have the counter balancer not set up rite? not syncronized.

I would look into a counter-balancer problem. Bad bearings can do it, although if its as bad as you say, it could be out of time. Flip the quad on its side so you dont loose your tranny oil, you should be able to take the clutch cover off without removing the rad hoses so you wont have to deal with that either. Look and see if the punch mark on the c-b lines up with the one on the crank gear, also make sure the crank gear punch mark lines up with the punch on the end of the crank. If all looks good try to wiggle it and see if there is excessive play in the bearings.

The counter bearing holder and it's bolts are known to fail in those engines also.

Don't overlook the clearance between the right side CBB and the bore it rests within, they wear out also.....

okay popped the cover and and everything looks tight except the clutch basket. the clutch discs stay put the basket itself wiggles... I am going to guess that my clutch is worn out?

How in the heck do you get the timing off? Then by 10 teath that is unreal. Some people shouldn't be allowed to own tools.
