Deepadoucheface and myself are finally get the 70's going.
We coated 2 ATC70 tanks + Fabio's 110 with RedCoat last weekend so I popped on a ghetto gas tank temporarily and just plugged one of the inlets to the carb, works great :D
Also, because of being layed off and not wanting to waste $$, I begged mom with her 1000$ German sewing machine to make us some seat covers. She said, "if you cut out the material and tell me how it's assembled, I'll take care of it". So, I spent about 3 hours taking the seams and threads out of the old cover for a pattern. Then I used posterboard for a pattern. Mom said it was tough to sew because she couldn't "pin" the material. She also bought good thread and a teflon foot for her machine which helped it quite a bit :D.
The old seat was stretched and torn and it was hard to make a good pattern. I found it best to get one good side and then fold it over so it would be uniform.
This was the 1st attempt and we tweaked it from there for the next ones.
I'll post up pics of the patterns and old pieces of the seat when I go back to MOMS.
Took about 2 hours or so to disassemble the old cover and make patterns and a half hour for mom to sew it up. The marine vinyl was on sale for about 8$ a yard and that made almost 3 covers.
Mike wants a crazy DISCO type red vinyl they have at the fabric shop for his ride so I'll be getting that one done hopefully by the weekend. That vinyl goes on sale this weekend......

It got dark and my camera isn't downloading to my virus filled porn PC so I was happy just to get these. Hopefully I can get some better pics.......
Yes, I know the front fender is on backwards :D I didn't know when I was piecing it together though....................
These 70's are almost MORE fun than full sized machines because you don't have to be so serious on them :w00t:
EVERYONE that likes trike needs MINITRIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
