Make sure you have Good fuel flow out of the tank petcock, If there's a signifigant gap between the reeds and the reed-cage, there worn out,

a motor will have excessive backwards air flow out of the carb intake when the reeds are bad......does it try to fire when using starting fluid?

Check your crank shaft seal.....

like 300rman said bad reeds will cause backwards air flow butr it would still run. if it was a bad crank seal it would still run just really lean.... you either have a blown top end or no fuel flow.

the goon hasent even replied to our diagnostic questions. and if the reeds shattered while riding, it would be a bear to get started
