Gal said it needed carb work, no biggie right? I got it home and pulled the plastics off of it to gain better carb access. The petcock knob falls off :D They had it installed incorrectly. On was off and res was off! No wonder why they said it would just quit running after a few minutes. After reclocking the knob, it was purring like a kitten. Amazing what constant fuel supply can affect huh?

paid 400.00 for it. I've been spending the last few hours wet sanding the rear fenders to get the old paint off. Gonna see it I can clean it up nice for the wife. The seat will have to go to the Moshers for some wife comfy foam and a new cover. :D DO the Moshers have a buy 10 get #11 free punchcard?

Looks pretty good! You don't see a lot of those around.

we got into wet sanding the fenders yesterday, boy oh boy does it look alot better. We even started to polish the rears using the "Mothers routine". It'll look sharp once we are finished.

Do they have and low gears for utility work? a friend of mine said he sell me his for 150$ and just wanted to know if it low enough to tow a small trailer to haul wood around and up small hills.

I remember first was really low in mine when I had it so I think it will pull alittle trailer around just fine.

I just took one home today for $150 and it needs a carb rebuild and new lower petcock on off valve and fuel line from there to tank.. I hope to get it purring before December.
