I have what looks to be a 1970 - 1971 US90. Serial is US90-1205XX. Front balloon tire holds air but the back two balloon tires are dry rotted, cracked and don't. The fender and gas tank appear to be pulled from a mid 80s ATC. This came with a house I bought. I have childhood memories of riding my uncle's three wheeler so there's a little nostalgia there but no attachment. I'd like to get it running but I'm looking for opinions on what others would do. Should I sell the front tire and use that to buy replacement tires and maintenance items to get it going again? Should I sell the whole thing to someone more interested in restoring it for collecting and just buy a newer user three wheeler? <img src="https://www.3wheelerworld.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=272092&d=1775350570&thumb=1" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version.

New ATC 110 Owner from Germany

Hello,

Hello,

my name is max and i just bought one of the few ATC 110 in Germany which are converted to streetlegal use with a legal title which is nowadays impossible to get. After some small repairs the trike is running good and it already passed TÜV inspection (similiar to DOT) so its legal to go on the road.

I just have one Issue regarding the Handbrake. I had to replace brake shoes and sand the drum clean from Rust. If i adjust the cable to have a good working Handbrake i have to pull the footpedal almost to the max to barely get a working brake. The main brake lever on the side of the Frame has to parts, the upper part where the Handbrake cable is attached and the Rod which is going to the drum. The lower part is attached to the foot pedal.
IF the handbrake is working properly the upper part is moved forward and it takes almost all the movement of the footpedal to even actuate the upperlevel and pull the rod.

At the moment i screwed the handbrake cable all the way loose so my footpedal is directly actuating the rod and the upper part of the level so the foodbrake works. but now the stroke of the handbrake is not enough to get any braking.

Hopefully you have some tips for the adjustment of all the levers as i think the previous owner already tinkered around with everything and i cant see any marks for original lever positions.

Best regards from Germany,

max
