Hi everyone. I’ve been using this site for years and wanna first thank anyone who sees this for their passion to keep a site like this going. I am only 17 and hope to keep 3 wheelers magic passed down my generations. Anyways I just had a quick question about if anyone has had any experience with this matter. As most of you probably know the XT 225 was a dirt bike made by Yamaha using just about the same exact motor. The difference had been the chain drive rear end and most importantly to me the usable clutch lever. I would like to know if anyone has had experience motor swapping this engine keeping the clutch setup with the shaft drive rear end or even swapping or building a swing arm for the chain drive all together.
