Just purchased this out in Pittsburgh area. Everything on this is original from what I can tell. Not missing anything. Looks like it has less than 10 hrs on it. Starts up on the first kick. I was amazed when I saw it in person for the first time.
I need help posting pics. Much appreciated.
you need to have a host for your pictures here. http://www.photobucket.com then upload your pictures then post them on the site.
Trying...I didn't think I was this technologically unadvanced.
http://s1102.photobucket.com/albums/g447/dsherbone/ There you go. You have a set of gorgeous Tecate's right there. Welcome to the Tecate Group.
Thanks for the assist Doug. Any idea on the silencer and airbox on the one 86?
I'm not sure about the airbox cover. I don't really know a whole lot about the 86 and 87 Tecate's. Is the silencer raw aluminum or black painted steel? I know JT Racing sold a silencer like that back in the day. I'll have to check some old magazines.
Not sure about the type of material. I will look next time I am up to my country house.
Man, where did that come from? How do folks come across these things? Did the fella selling it forget it was in his garage? I just can't wrap my little brain around your find dsherbone. I don't know whether to be your friend or dislike you out of jealousy. (lol)
