Was ridin my 84 t3 last night and my shifter bent down and stripped off. My shifter is completely smooth on the inside and the shaft is angled down and back and the shaft is almost smooth on the outside teeth and the inside teeth look good. I need major help guys anybody got anything

Can you look at at what you posted + and explain what the heck you just wrote ?
if the shaft is bent, to replace it you'll have to split the case.. if its just the shifter a new one will bolt on fairly quick..
Ok the shifter is stripped out and the shaft is bent to about the 5 oclock position and on the shaft there is the outside teeth the the grove where the bolt sets then the inside teeth well the outside ones r kinda rounded off but the inside ones still look good so I just don't know how to fix it
Honestly id replace the shaft and shift lever.

Probably should pick up a manual for it if you don't already. Figuring that the bike is almost 30 years old id go ahead and replace all the bearings seals and gaskets while u got it opened up
