86t3, tore it down, threw out all the old bearings and seals (bad idea). Orderd all new from kawi. All is good but the shift shaft seal, twice now i have gotten a much bigger seal than i need. the seal i keep getting is kawi number 92051-003.That is the number kawi.com shows butthe seal is way to big and clearly wrong.....is my dealer messed up or my shift shaft or case somehow diffrent? anyone run into this before???? will get some pix up soon so ya'll can see what im saying.
Same thing happened to me about a year back. There is a error issue with the 86-87 p/n listings with the shift shaft seal. The oem p/n for the 84/85 Tecate shift shaft seal is the one you need to order for 86/87.
