Got a nice pair of forks with my 2nd Gen 250r. My bro has a 2 Gen too. Today he was breaking it down getting it ready for restoration. He put his forks next to mine in the corner and noticed doing so that the forks that came off my trike are about 1.5 taller than his stock forks. Any ideas on what they could have came off of? Any input would be great...just curious ...
are they the same dia???? the trees, are they the same??? if not i would think the previous owner did an upgrade to the 85-86R forks. it's a great upgrade too. 83-84 tubes are 1.5 in shorter than the 85-86.
They fit in stock tripples but are just longer.ill measure for diameter
