Hey guys I got a question Was there any motor difference on the 84 85 tecate. Like was there a power difference or any thing. And yes I now theres a difference with the 86 & up. just woundering.
I'm pretty sure the motors are identical--no changes. The changes between the 84 and 85 were the rims and the front brake. The rims went from steel to aluminum along with a change in hubs. And the front brake went from drum to disk. They got rid of the fork boots and went with wipers, and changed the seat color from black to blue.
