What size is the spacer insert in the chain gaurd slider ?

I never ever did have the steel ( ? ) insert that went in the rear 84/85 chain slider mounting tabs. I just used a flat washer and the bolts when I was running a stock steel 84/85 rear swing arm on my first generation T-3.
I have been punching out the holes at 6mm in my reproduction sliders and wondered if i should go ahead and punch them out to the correct size since letting customers do it kinda sorta scares me.
Spacer size, input ????
