Read through nd4speeds interchange thread (several times). The T3 can except trx hubs, correct? So this would widen the rear 3". So in denniskirk they have axel spacers, this would widen it a little more IF they fit a Tecate axel. But will the 85' splines match up with the honda trx extended hubs? I like my tecate 10" alum. rims, but if I could switch to a trx hub, go with a 9" rim, it would open more tire options and swaps with our 3 200x's. Cheaper on tires and spares in case of a flat.
I don't know if the trx hubs will fit on the T3 or not, but I would definitely like to know the answer. The 4/110 wheels are definitely easier to find.
On Nd4speed's interchange on p. 5 #70 shows 86-87' axel fitted with spacers and Honda sport hubs (I assumed trx, sorry if I'm incorrect, but that's what they looked like). So trx hubs bolt to honda 9" rims. Are 1st and 2nd generation splines the same? ANOTHER QUESTION: Fly wheel puller and special tools to change stator. Still availible somewhere I assume. Where? How much$. Or is there another way/tool? Buddy stopped by and looked at the Tecate again and thinks its the stator and says my spare looks o.k. to at least try and he'll bring over his volt meter & even build me a new wire harness to help me. He worked for harley & can wire a bagger so I'm pretty happy except I don't have the pullers.
I dunno about 86/87 but 84/85 axles are course spline and all honda bubs I have seen are fine spline... I don't think they will work on 84/85.
