Ive always wanted a skid plate even before I installed the Cal-Fab. They just look great and Ive always liked the way they just let you slid over rocks and logs with out having to grit your teeth. Im sure there arent many Cal-Fabs around for the Tecates and if there are probably less than half the owners would probably want to run a skid plate. I have seen one on Brapps Tecate but none on an 84-85. I am just trying to figure out how to get one for my Tecate. I figure It will need to be custom built so that means they will want the swing arm to use as a guide? Any suggestions on how or who to go to for this one off piece?
Bummer, I had one on my 84. I sold the cal fab to a former kawie rider named Tim Helter, he didn't really want the skidplate but I sent it with it anyway. I have some photos of it on my profile pics. Out here in the desert I always rip the things off on big rocks.
