The calipers and mounts on the rear carriers are different between 84 and 85. The rotors are the same. That is awesome you got another.. Can't wait to see pics..

Have been stockpiling parts for the motor, current crank was bought off Ebay and sent to my crank rebuilder in MI. The water pump end off the crank was damged, the clip groove was worn off it and the rod was shot.My rebuilder is a top notch machinist and he has done a spectacular job in the processes of welding and regrooving for the clip on the end of the crank. It is on it's way back to me, with new OEM rod, bearings, etc all new.
I got new cases, all new OEM bearings, seals, everything on the bottom end is new OEM-and to match I have a new US CHROME jug with piston kit, new 38MM carb, jeswineharts intake, so many parts.I am hoping to get the project started before the cold weather comes for sure.

Here's the wrote up on my crank rebuild for this project-it has all the measurements for the crank on the thread, well worth it when selling to a group member. You'll never find a guy/girl that has that kind of information.

If you need to join our site to view the thread-it is free and we do not sell information to anyone-the gentleman that is doing the work has a machine shop in MI and does top notch work for our community in PILOT ODYSSEY world,he might rebuild more cranks in the future for others,he does top notch work IMO.

Rebuilt the fork seals on both, and the rear shock is completed as well for this build.Motor is still not completed, as shown above the crank is totally rebuilt, with documented .002 run out after sitting for 3 days.I love the fact my re-builder specs everything on paper for me, so I can prove to the next owner on it's condition.I love documentation.Love it!!

got intake custom made from my crank rebuilder-made on his CNC machine-looks good, see if it seals well on the motor.
