#1) Does the 85 have the same wheels all the way around or is the offset for the front different? #2) are the rear wheels from an 86/87 the same as the 85's? I think the answer to both questions is yes but I don't know for certain. That's why I am asking here.
I just looked it up on www.kawasaki.com All 3 85 Tecate wheels are the same part number. The 85 Tecate wheels are the same part # as the rear 86 wheels. 85 wheels 41025-1114 RIM,10X8.5 3 86 rear wheels 41025-1114 RIM,10X8.5 2
That's wild.. When you look at the diagram for the 85 all 3 wheels say 41025. Click on the wheels part number it will bring up another pop up. If you click on the question mark, it will show you a list of the bikes that use the same part number.
What does the 3 and 2 denote on the end of the 85 & 86 # respectively? Specifically 10x8.5 3 and 10x8.5 2 Piece per trike? Good work Doug! And thanks!

I still love the way those oem wheels look. Satin finish, open center, and sooo light. But, the 10" wheel on the back just doesn't look right imo. I have my Haulers mounted on perfect oems because they are 20's. on 10" wheels and are lighter than 20's and 8" wheel. Less rubber. But for dirt, 8's.& 18's.
The problem with 8's on the tecate is that the 4/156 bolt pattern hub won't fit inside an 8" wheel... Only choice is a 10" unless your swapping hubs. I'm collecting OE wheels for sand tires..I need one more wheel for a complete set and I need to straighten out a lip on one of the 86 wheels I have before I get tires on order.
