Bought a 84' 250 from a Guy a few hours from where I live. It didn't come with much! good gas tank, bad plastics, decent seat pan. You get the drift. Had the. Rear axle, half ass engine and came complete with bent forks lol.perfect for the restoration I have in mind ,ground up !you don't want to pay for worn parts if your looking for show quality or if your just looking to break the necks of every quad you pass,lol. Between my empty pockets,nos parts and picking trikes daily ill find the parts I need to restore this trikes dignity.Here's the build. Engine : wiseco piston, boyesen rrids, keihen 36mm Carb, dg national pipe,dg silencer, uni filter. Suspension : custom aluminum swingarm + 6 with dual row bearing carrier. Eliminator +2 rear axle. Swapping shock with something to lift the rear end to accompany the new inverted crf forks and custom tripples I plan to use to fly over quads below.lol
sounds like it will be a badass trike.. but if u like more top end and hp then go with a pro x piston i ran both for yrs and pro x last way longer and they have stronger rings that hold up to the heat.. if yr like me i like to run it wide open and wiseco just cant do it...and pro x is cheaper look it up..

This is my first 2 stroke restoration. Besides the 82' in the pics section. That my brother's trike.whnen I got my 84' he immediatly caught the bug and went out and found himself a piece of history 2. It competitive with an older brother around. Ill post pics later of my build under auto x 84 on the pics section.
I only bought it because it was complete and cheap and close bro. Going from 200x's to 250r's was the obvious next step anyway.
