Hi everyone just got my hands on a 86' 250r cool owned an 84 sold it and fell in love with them, question I am doind the fork seals but dont know exactly how much to put in or how, I saw one of the replies and it said 15.5 ounces of ATF? or fork seal. I did not want to go wrong and went to but the fork fluid at the Honda dealer so how much and do I use the fill screw on the side of the fork? another question what type of oil is recomended for the crank case? I apologized for the questions but I will thank you for the answers...
on my 84 i use 9.5 oz. of 10w in each fork. for the case i use 80w/85w trans oil. thats what my research said for an 84, i dont know how that differs from an 86, but thats what i know. hope it helps
