ok the situation, i have a 85 1/2 tri z and fixing the current overflow bottle situation that everyone has a problem with...when i took off the head, there was three gaskets, a sanded down piston and the cylinder didnt look to bad. light light scuffing with 125 ib of compression. But, when i took the jug off, i found someone had stuck the cylinder back on with a broken skirt....so what do i do ? resleeve or have it sent out to have the skirt fixed and renicasilled? the piston and bore is .25 over. Thanks guys...
I've run an old rxs 100 with a smashed piston skirt before and run like a dream but I would not do it again as once it's gone it's a lot weeker and probly going to do it again. So IDE buy a fresh one.
