I have a CD repair manual for my Tecate but im having a problem finding the tourqe specs and pattern on the crank case any help would be great thanks
My manual doesn't list any torque specs for the crank case bolts. It does list the water pump cover bolts at 11 ft. lbs, and the drain plug bolt at 14.5 ft lbs. It does list a general fastener torque chart by thread diameter. 5mm =30-43 in-lb, 6mm =52-69 in-lb, 8mm =10.0-13.5 ft-lb, 10mm =19.0-25 ft-lb, 12mm =33-45 ft-lb, 14mm =54-72 ft-lb. All of the values are for use with dry solvent-cleaned threads. Hope that helps, Doug It's from page 1-9 in the manual
