My trike an 84 tecate is spitting fuel out on the front under the jug. Bigger question, please tell me the flywheel is bad. Went to kick it over it went once then felt like it locked up. I know the stator/flywheel issues by reading on here and wondering if these are the same symptoms. Please advise!!!
Mine locked up while riding when the flywheel let go...Made a mess. It's a good possibility that's what happened to yours.
There is a member on here jeswinehart he can magnetize the flywheel so that doesnt happen ... 55 bucks is cheaper than buying 180 dollar stators every couple months ...
I just sent two Flywheels to John to work his magic on.
well it can shoot fuel out of case halves where crank case area is, or between jug and case halves, or exhaust port. Pull stator cover and look for magnet chunks. If leak at crank case they you could have leaned motor and fried piston/crank, ect.....
