I have an 85 yamaha 200er and it has 9 inch rims on the rear and its so hard to find second hand tires to fit. My buddy has a big red with 12 inch rims on the back with mud lights . Would i be able to fit 11 or 12 inch rims on the back of my bike ? it would save a lot of trouble in finding tires and new tires for 12 inch rims are cheaper because they require a lot less rubber than a 9 inch rim
if you can find the bolt pattern and the right offset...as long as its a 25" tire theres no difference
