i am a new member here. i have an 86' 250 and the rear diff is completely shot. i bought an older 85' parts bike and was curious if the 85 swingmarm and rear end will roll complete under my 86. if so, shouldnt the two allen bolts and shock bolts be all that is necessary to remove from one to the other. trying to get the bike going again, it was my grandfathers and is a great trike to have. thank you
should fit far as i can tell, the things that wont swap are the hubs 85 is different. but if you are going to take the complete 86 swing arm off and bolt the complete 85 swing arm on as one assembly, I cant see any reason why that wouldnt work. I am also fairly certain that the differential is also the same from 85-86.
