hhmmm. I only have one question, i am not trying to be smart , but do you know the difference between conventional aftermarket maiers, to actual low profile. I have never even seen a set its not like i know what i am talking about either, i have two different colors of maier, white and green, i would not be interested in owning a third regular maier, but if they are real low profile i would be regardless of color.
I don't think Maier ever offered a standard 84-85 rear fender. I think all Maiers first gen fenders are low profile, or at least all I have ever seen. The fenders you have are most likely low profile fenders as well. Here are mine:
thank you for the knowledge, and photo. I have the 2 maiers and the original tecate 85 rear fender, i agree the 84-85 tecate maiers have a low profile contour to them,
They definitely made ones for the 86-87's but I think I've only seen 3-5 sets of those.
