Hello all. I have a chance to trade a sx for a big red. On a scale of 1 to 10 there both a good 7.5. All decals , no smoke. Just wanting some opinions. I Like the sx but I'm more of a hunter than trail rider. Although I can pull a deer out with the sx as well. What do u guys think ?
If we are talking 85-87 BR in trade for 85-87 250SX. I'd say there are pluses and minuses in either direction. I'd say I like the front rack on the BR- I also like the rear tool box, I also like the detachable headlight, I also like how the rear fenders roll back. The rear rack is great for hauling stuff. I also like that they are two piece design so if I break one of the fenders I can order one not both - shipping costs as much as the fender. In fact the only thing I like better on the SX is the front forks and lets face it, on that frame they don't make that big a difference. The Big Red was the flagship. The SX was a bigger version of the 200x with out disc brakes.
