i have a 81 250r and looking at a 84 to buy for parts mine runs but looks bad and the 84 doesn't run but looks great my ? is will all the motor parts fit both or just some i herd the head will but don't know?
The shifter shaft are different on the 83-84 compared to the 81-82. No problem to change but you have to take off the whole clutch cover and clutch to change out the shafts.
sounds easy i have done that to my big red and my sx so im going to buy a 84 hopefully this weekend
