Hello, I’m looking for some advice/assistance on my wheeler. I have a 1984 big red 200es that was parked for many years I got it running cleaned the carb and it was semi-good, I had a buddy help me to adjust the intake valves as I thought maybe it was off a bit due to it running rough and if you weren’t by the throttle it would just die. Always started again but anyway after we adjusted the intake to .002 I believe then I went to start it the next day and it was just wide open throttle, I made sure the throttle slide was in correctly and the boots don’t look to be cracked or torn, I started it again and again and everytime it was wide open I took the idle screw all the way out and monkeyed with the throttle adjustment and it still wants to run wide open. Anything I’m missing? Let me know and thank you!
