83 250r brake questions???

My 83 250r project is about 95% done. It just needs brakes to be rideable. I cant seem to find any complete brake front or rear on ebay. I can find the calipers and line but no master cylinder. So i have a couple questions:

1. If i get a caliper and line (front brake) for an 83, will a master cylinder/lever from say an 85 or 86 fit it?

2. Are there any other brakes out there other than stock that will bolt right on maybe off of a newer atv or dirtbike?

If any body can help or possibly has a spare set of brakes that i could buy off em, please let me know.
