    200x shift problem??

    Dont want to post hog, gotta go to work. Looking for advice where to start to correct pproblem. Have new clutch and this is a 84 200x. Will sometimes engage in first gear, and sometimes not?? No bad noises or clanks when it does? Shift for, drum star plate?? Where would you start?? Thanks

    I'd start by pullin the right side cover and looking at the star plate and the rest of the linkage for any signs of wear
    The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.
