My 400EX has a crotch rocket stunt bar on it. I can drag it all day and throw sparks at night. lol

I built a super stout bar for my 350X... 1.25 X .625 6061 Aluminum bars with a 1" solid stock handle across the back, and grade 12 machine hardware... Wish I had a pic of it... ( I like overkill)
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

i wanted to make it clear that i dont plan on riding full weight on this bar, it is just to stop it from scraping in the occasions that i go back to far. if i stand the bike on it, it would be almost 12 o'clock and the position is just about perfect to bounce me back forward again.

I needed one of those on the 70's all those too many beer night rides!! Ouch lol lol lol Different is always good in my opinion!! My mudslut 70 has a barhitch made intentionally to dig in and flip crazy's rig right back down. Got sick off the 70's runnin' off on the stock bar staring at the sky.... lol lol

I think it's a real ingenious idea, really. I don't like the scratches on the bottom of mine either, & I think it looks kinda cool.

Since you're asking for opinions, here is my 2 cents. I think it is a good idea for stopping scratches. BUT, I would worry that if you do stand it up from doing a wheelie, there won't be any friction to stop you at 12:00 and this would allow the momentum to keep swinging and bring the trike over and on top of you. Those wheels on there look like they would allow the trike to just keep on going backwards, I don't know.

jeff - sometimes i cant find it fast enough!!
hoosier - i get what your saying about the momentum keep carrying me back, but i dont think i will be comming up that fast. maybe from a dead stop if you dont know what your doing you might whip it straight up fast enough to keep movin back, but it'll do that without wheels. the wheels are to just to protect the bar and fenders. i ride long wheelies and sometimes my powerband will kick a little more than i want and i scrape bar before i can tap brake. hopefully this will allow me to "bump" the ground and keep movin without losing my speed. sounds good to me in theory, but i am gonna have to test and oh yea i cant wait till we get ahold of those steelers this year! GO RAVENS!!!!!

The bike will only go back after you come to a complete stop. So long as you have forward momentum, it will not come back over onto you. Trust me, ive done it PLENTY of times.
