85 250sx stuck exhaust valve ???

hey Trikers, I have a lead on an 85 250sx complete. SUPPOSEDLY, it has the top end off due to a stuck exhaust valve. I'm VERY mechanically inclined, just virgin to trikes. What all "could" be wrong with this ??? I know you can't tell me exactly without more info but if I look at this today give me some ideas. As I said, the top end is supposed to be off but everything is there. THX

buy the damn trike you can buy a complete head off ebay for like 100 bucks. There is some on there right now...seller rpm_atv.

valve probelby got rusted and stuck in the guide. it woudl probebly require a valve and guild change. by the time you do that. yea u can get a good used head for the same costs.

sounds like a cover up story to me, prolly more like needs a total rebuild

for 150 what do you have to lose?

you kow if the rest of the trike is ok,a nd the rear end is in good shape. for 150 it's a deal. for another $150-$200 you can get a total top end repalcement from ebay for a working unit.
