    Question Who does porting?

I'm thinking of putting my spare top-end on my Tecate, I think she may be getting a bit tired. My spare consists of a regular Tecate cylender with a new sleeve and wiseco piston. I haven't looked at it in a while but I don't think there is any port work done to it other than the regular port matching done when the sleeve was installed.

The cylender I run now is original nikasil from 85 and heavily ported. I know these machines are known to be fast anyways, but I'm pretty sure my port job keeps her way out in front of the Honda's and Yami's. I really don't want to take a step backwards in HP so I'm looking to get my new cylender ported.

I'm thinking Corey Sprock might do this but I don't know for sure. Any suggestions?

    "Can't", never could do nothing

There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air

Thanks, Daddio. That place looks really good and really reasonable. You know anybody who has that hole cut in their piston skirt like that? For $30 bucks I wonder if it's worth it.

Correct, He is no longer in business, but still ports on the side. He has kept all his equipment and dyno.

Everybody has their people whom are the best in their mind. Find the one that best suites your needs and price range. If its just a stock jug, most can do a decent job.

I really wish 86 250r would post on here again...there's an old guy locally who's pushing 80 who does portwork.

The owner of the bike went to the samehighschool as me and swears by it. Some people have the book knowledge to do it, others just have the gift.

You could try contacting that member...

86 250r is the name he's from plaquemine, la and his name is clint
