It's just a sign of the economy. The Tecate's can cost more to restore and maybe thats why people dump their projects.

It's BAD out there guys, REAL BAD and not getting better.

I am 6 months laid off and no sign of work..........

It will be awhile before I have to dump projects though

I have noticed this as well. The sad thing is I don't have the money to buy them all.

I blew a right crank seal on my '85 a couple weeks ago and trying to decide to whether to sell it to a guy up the road or hang on to it and fix it (months.....maybe longer?) down the road.

I haven't had anything more than odd jobs since summer 2007, so it's not my highest priority right now.

It's sad, you really looks to enjoy your tecate.

I would sell my soul if I could get a lien release for it, but I just can't seem to pay that loan off.

I've got good reason to hang on to it and fix it when I can. Three of my sons have 3-wheelers, too. My 7-yo has an '84 ATC 70, my 12-yo an '85 1/2 Tri-Z, and my 14yo an '85 250R........so we're kinda all in this together since I got them into 3-wheeling in the first place.

I knew mine needed to be rebuilt when I got it New Year's Eve(low compression/original top-end/little wiggle on flywheel end of crank), and I did get over 7 months out of it....so I'll hang in there.

Just a good excuse for what i really wanted anyway...Sprock 300 kit

I have 5 boys total, so....I probably can't afford another.

As soon as I get around to designing an online application, I'll send you one, though....
