    Street legal ATC200es 2009!!!!!

I took a title from 1984 to our court house in Des Moines Iowa today to get a big red in my name. It had been sitting in a barn and had a license plate from 1987 on it. They said they used to drive it in town back in the day. The court house gave me a license plate and registered it in my name for 2009
So does that mean I can drive this bad boy in town now? Whats the law saying I cant if its registered and titled.

I'd imagine you need mirrors, horn, signals, brake lights, DOT tires, insurance and all the other goodies.

Unless you live in a cool small town where the don't bust chops

I doubt it, my 200S has a license plate and is titled but is not road legal, just gets in the way, was hard to find a place to mount it and keep it visible etc etc.. that's in NB Canada anyways

in texas, dot tires are NOT required if not traveling on the freeways.
we also do not need turn signals as long as you use the arm signals.
only thing you have to have is plate light, brake lights, and hi-low beams and horn.

Exactly right oscar, but some places are strict. Here is a state by state requirements. In most states anyhting with three or less wheels is classified as a motorcycle.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
