    ????? About My Rear Mastercylinder

    when its off the bike with no fluid in it, should it move freely or be hard to push the rod in????

    oh yeah its for a 85 200x

    i don't really know, but you can take it apart and clean the crud out of it.

    If it is disconected from the caliper the piston should slide in and out freely as there is nothing to push. Be it air or oil if it's headed out an open end it should go.

    ok thanks for the info guys.....i have 2 mastercylinders, one moves freely and one is hard so i guess i have a good one and a bad one...thanks again.
