I don't think so. If I'm not mistaken, those are two totally different animals. I think one is shaft and the other is chain just for starters.

well it must be a 1983 then but on the front of the trike its say.. 1982 too
so it wont fit ??

It could have been built in 82 and sold as an 83.
No the motor won't fit.
