The gearing felt good going from a 44 to a 42, plus it helped on ground clearance but not much. Me and about 6 guys are going to Busco Beach in NC on Friday afternoon to ride. Then I can really get some time on the bike.

Nice work and looks to be future works on the horizon to look forward to as well. By the way your garage has a dajavou feeling to it....like all those ZZZZZ! Dude straight out of my dreams....got room in the corner next to the dog for me?

note to self: gutter biz is good in N.C. must have cut yourself 1000 times to get them trikes.

You have some good looking Z's there . I restored a yellow red combo 85 z and a 85 1/2 red , black Z with a plus 8 " swingarm , sold both bikes to buy other toys . They are great bikes . Keep up the good work .

Thanks guys for the comments, its been a blast to build a Tri-Z that was considered junk found in a box scattered over the USA. The bike ran and rode great this weekend. I was beating stock YFZ450 on the drap strip this weekend. Anything over 500ft they were catching me. It did its job, I'm happy. The 86 is coming lol!

I love the build process. Great job! Threads like this keep me motivated on my projects. I may have to get a Jemco pipe now.
