    tri moto bogs bad

Ok guys i really appreciate all the help i have recived so far, that being said....My little 125 tri moto bogs BAD when flooring it. Like in other words when taking off it almost stalls out unless i slip the clutch a little (lift up a tiny bit on the shifter). Then after i get going it bogs bad when shiffting gears. Im thinking the pilot jet and main jet are in order to be cleaned. Does that sound about rite? Also the little fitting on the right side of the carb, what is that? Just a vent? Some retard has a primer hooked to it.

Your carb probably needs cleaned yes. Without pictures when you tell us soemthing, we cannot confirm what you are talking about. You have to give us a little help/break here if you want us to be more specific in helping you.

Try cleaning the carb and setting it back to factory specifications, If that don't work I would check compression.

I cleaned the carb and adjusted it correctly and it still does it. It has alot of compression so im thinking the idiot who had it before me put to much oil in with the gas. Once you rev it up in neutral it bogs, then clears up and smokes like its running 10:1 ratio haha. So il throw some fresh gas with some klotz benol and see it still does it. Atleast i got the headlight and taillight working, got the chain all set, got the tires to hold air, and degreased the engine. I think im going to get a new air filter to because it has a crappy UNI foam clamp on filter on it, and due to gas getting on it the whole inside is melted.......

It could be a jetting issues if it runs better with the choke pulled, meaning it wants more fuel. A crappy air filter doesn't help though.
