Some of those pictures remind me of the reasons I wanted to move there in 1970. At that time I had just graduated from college and was trying to talk my wife into moving there. My wife and I headed for Alaska the day after school was out and were gone 10 weeks. Had a pickup and camper. Sad to say I could never get her to move. Great prictures!!!!

so the front clip or hood/grille was changed on the truck, nice. that is a later model grille/hood combo...I love the 73-77 fronts, even more than my 79.
78-79 like yours and mine have the ford letters on the hood, not in the grille...I considered a change but the hood repaint at this time would be a pain.

stuck with any rust around the cab lights or drip rail?

Nice, some of those shots remind me of the Adirondacks here in NY.

actually im putting the original grill back in cause this is a front clip off a 78, and i like the 75 grill much better.. no rust under lights, and drip rail is good shape... already got brakes on order..
