    Plug help on 86 250R

Okay, so im trading in one of my 250r's for a new outboard. When i got to they guys shop, no fire. I checked the plug, real weak, erratic spark. The outboard guy said "i dont know anything about "bikes" but with an outboard you cant run a resistor plug when you need a regular" so he went and grabbed a regular plug (not sure of anything about it) stuck it on there had bright spark. The plug i was using was a BR8ES. What plug would yall recommend?

By the way i lost all spark 2 weeks ago so i ordered all new Stator, Pulsar, and Ignition Coil and put on some day last week. I havent ran the "r" since. The stator / pulse gen are from RMSTATOR. and the Coil is an aftermarket coil (EMGO) Spelling?? i think thats right. I use there brake pads, their decent. heres a link to one

Should i just try the B8ES? or a hotter plug? colder? i know nothing about plugs and could really use some help.

I'am pretty shure a NGK BR8ES is the proper plug for it. It should have a fixed resistor not one that you can turn off. Make shure your kicking it over fast also and that the plug is a good one. I have bought new plugs before and they wasn't worth the box they came in.

Get yourself a NGK BR8EG and you'll never go back to a ES series plug again, they cost a few bucks more but are well worth it,They foul less, burn better, start easier
