    200x parts in 200m questions

I need to rebuild the topend on my 200m. I want it to have a little more power. I know the 200x piston will fit but will the 200x cam fit also? If so, any clearence issues w/ valves ect? What about the head swap? Would that be worth doing also? I would think the x would have bigger valves right?
    Trikes: Cagiva 200, 85? Tiger 250,(2)84 200x's , (3)86 200x's, 87 200x, (5)85 350x's, (2)86 350x's, (2)85 250r's, 86 Tecate, (3) 85 250sx's Restoring: 83 200x, 86 250sx. Too many utility trikes to list.

Valves are the same size but the cam is bigger on the X and the stock X flat top piston will increase compression over your M piston and if you can find a 200x carb you will get 2 mm larger their also . You will feel a HP increase . You will loose the compression release if you change to an X head so I don't recommend it .

the xr cam is bigger than the 200x if you want a budget build or go to mega cycle and get a real cam and springs
