Raptor vs. 350x

Sunday I raced a 2003 raptor with my 86 350x and i smoked it! When are people gonna learn that hondas are better then yamaha and every thing else. Wait i have two yamahas lol!

I still disagree with the fact Honda is better. Sure they have more products, but both I think are equal. If you wanna suck look at Kawa and Suzi. Best thing they have running for them is the 86/87 T3!

the lt500 was built because suzuki couldnt get any power out of a 250 so they just go out and put a bigger engine. ive everything but a kawi and I have to say the Honda is by far the best. Definently the most reliable.

I think that if you outran a Raptor with your 350x in a heads ups drag race than Jacob Yoder (or some other omish guy who has never ridden a motorized vehicle before) must have been riding the Raptor. A Raptor is a damn fast quad them and banshees are my closest competion at the sand drags.

That had to of been a horrable driver to lose to a 350x. i'm not saying it cant be dont just if there experienced they will win more than they loose agenst a 350x

with equally experienced riders the raptor will win every time, i know i raced my cousin on his 04 LE raptor and he smoked me. i love my 350x but i think you guys race wimps on raptors. please dont attack me for saying this :?

everyone is entitled to there own opinion on what bike thay think is the best i personally think the 84/85 t3's are damn good bikes...thats why i bout one :shock: and i have smoked may a raptor and even a few banshees

Nos350x, The suzuki lt250r was actually a stronger running engine then either the honda or the tri-z. Lowend pull was not quite as good as a honda, but the topend made up for it, where the honda is weakest. Suzuki's biggest problems were keeping their machines together, as they had a myriad of problems throughout the years.

You guys don't give Raptors enough credit, I want to see some actual video footage of a 350x out running a Raptor.

Until I see solid proof I'm going to treat this just like a drunk guys testimony of seeing Bigfoot, or Lock Ness Monster.

if its a pure drag race (lame) then the raptor will probably win.

however if its in the woods on real world trails i give the edge to the 350X in the right hands. i don't need any footage as i've done it. just ask karnivore660 and oldschool.

I definitely couldn't pass this subject up.LOL I had a '01 raptor and raced my buddy on my 350x(before the bore job).The raptor was stock the 350x had a pipe, k&n filter and jetted.I'd say we are both at the same riding level.The raptor would spank it!When i got the motor work done on the 350x,it was very close.I went up 1 tooth on the front,got shorter tires in the rear(stock 250r),went down 2 teeth in the rear(38)but the raptor still had a better top speed.If you could keep the front end down,low to mid,the big bore 350x would stay right with it until top end(speed).The raptor wouldn't start pulling away until the x was in top gear.Just my experience.Wait till i get nitrous on the x.Should be VERY interesting.(i think the x will smoke it though).
