    gasket placement?

    i just got my gasket kit in for my 85 200x...is there any place i could find out where the gaskets go or is it basically trial and error?

    I would think it would be obvious but what do i know. You can go to www.bikebandit.com and pull up a microfiche of the engine to help guide you or look in the manual.

    90s......89 Suzuki quad racer 250 (raced 250 A class for 6 years, late 90s.. custom framed 250x with long travel shocks and a built 350x motor.... built Honda 110
    00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)
    2012.....Replaced the 350x motor for a 444cc YZ426

    alright cool thanks guys...one question...whats the best gasket sealer to use with the gaskets?

    none....you can use oil on them so they will come off in one peice.

    so i just put the gaskets on the bare metal? this is my first small engine rebuild so im asking questions haha

    do not put sealent on them i did on my 200es. ended up having to tear it down again and some gaskets were destroyed. had to make new ones out of cork gasket paper
    proud owner of a trx300ex quad and an 85 atc 70
