I know it definaly needs the top end taken apart, and maybe the bottom end because it has set for a while with no dipstick, so the bottom end it probaly full of rust, and it didn't seem to shift. I'm not going to get it.

Too bad it would cost an arm and a leg to ship the fenders. They're in better shape than the ones I've got. The kill switch probably works properly too. And it's got a brake lever, and, and, and...

I'm thinking more about getting it now, and I'm going up to his place on Monday, and while I'm there I ask what he will take for it. I know as of now it needs the entire exhaust, a carborator, rims and tires all around, and probaly rings (I might be able to get it running with the rings that are there).
What carbs of other machines will fit this 90? I want to know so I can look around on ebay so I know what I might spend.

I closed off the plug hole with my thumb, and I felt no compresion at all trying to push my thumb.

I was up to his place today to go out for a ride on our wheelers. I asked him what he would take for it. He thought for a while, then said $30, I then asked $20 and he said yes.
I'll probaly go get it tomorow or the next day if I actualy decide to get it.

I just got back from picking it up for $20. I got the vin and it turns out to be an '74 ATC90, the last year of 90's with the bigger ballon tires.
What other rims will fit the 3-bolt hubs this has now? Or can I upgrade to a 4-bolt hub to make it easier to find rims?

    Ya, don't discourage me.
I'll try to jerry-rig up as much as I can at first, then slowly get the proper parts over time.

I'd say part it out, The motor alone is going to be about $200 to go in and go through bearings/piston/valves, plus if your looking to make into a rider tires/rims with ebay prices could be any where from $90 to $200, and the carb like $20-$60. The fenders on that bike are the most valuable thing on the bike every thing needs to be gone through. Idk what moron leaves a bike out in the yard without a spark plug or without the dipstick. I'd try to get the motor running and then throw it on ebay with the frame/forks and fenders separate. How ever it looks like the fenders are not worth that much because somebody who is very cool is making fiber glass ones for cheap on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Q5fAccessories

With the jerry-rigging I do, I should be able to get it to give a kick by pouring a bit of gas in the intake, without buying any parts. I might even try rigging up a lawn mower carborator, gas tank, and muffler.
Rims and maybe a carborator are my only problems so far. I have yet to find out what rims and hubs interchange.
