With the cost of ammo through the roof, I decided to build a Ruger 10/22 for some plinking and, well, having the baddest .22 on the block, pretty much![]()
I started with a Ruger 10/22 with the synthetic stock and special edition textured paint finish on the receiver. I added:
A Volquartsen Target Hammer kit
Christie and Christie basic kit (recoil buffer, auto bolt closer, extended mag release, extended bolt handle)
Volquartsen stabilization module
Adams and Bennet .920 match grade bull barrel
Fajen synthetic stock
a Tasco pronghorn 3 x 9x 32 scope
I also broke down the trigger assebly and did some buffing ...![]()
This gun wil shoot through the SAME HOLE at 50 yards. It's a friggin tack driver. Tons of fun for less than you think......
